Communications is an essential part of scaling climate solutions. The more people who know about your solution the more people who can take effective climate action. Our team is dedicated to helping you become an effective climate communicator and has compiled these resources to help you get started.

Communications for the New Climate Toolkit

Communications for the New Climate is a communications toolkit that was developed to help explain the nuances of climate communications. It explores questions to develop messages that connect to target audiences and provides tactics for getting media coverage.

Created by Redwood’s own Emily Prettyman and Jessica Harrington, this toolkit was originally published for the Aspen Future Climate Leaders Initiative on the Aspen website.

Making Most of Industry Events Toolkit

Making the Most of Industry Events was written by Redwood’s own Emily Prettyman, Jessica Harrington (2023 Aspen Future Leaders) and Keely McNeme (2024 Aspen Future Leader). This guide aims to serve as your compass for navigating the Aspen Ideas: Climate conference and other industry events and as a reminder of the impact you can have when you approach such gatherings with intention, preparation, and openness to new ideas. Whether you’re a seasoned attendee or a first-timer, this guide will equip event attendees and speakers with essential strategies to navigate the event landscape effectively.
