Driving Climate Progress with Climate Communications

2022 has been a big year for the climate. We have seen record heat waves, catastrophic flooding, and devastating storms across the globe.

But it's not all doom and gloom: the U.S. government passed what is arguably the most comprehensive and promising national climate policy in history, the Inflation Reduction Act.

And of course, Redwood Climate Communications celebrated its one-year anniversary.

On that positive note, solutions exist to adapt to these new realities and mitigate future damage. The provisions in the IRA will help to make them scaleable.

A major obstacle to getting those solutions up and running is communication. Companies, governments, and NGOs need help getting their message out to investors, policymakers, and the general public.

That's where we come in.

At Redwood Climate Communications, this is what we do. We help our clients communicate innovative solutions to some of the toughest climate and environmental challenges.

To help meet the moment, Redwood was proud to host a panel discussion at Climate Week NYC 2022. Are We Looking Up? Climate Communications at a pivotal moment brought together a panel of experts to discuss what's next for climate communications and how to expand the conversation.

Moderated by Redwood CEO Josh Garrett, the discussion brought together unique and insightful perspectives from three climate communications professionals:

The discussion ranged from how to balance messages of hope and climate doom, directing people toward meaningful individual actions, addressing environmental and climate justice, and so much more. Watch the full video below or on YouTube.

Even though the event has passed, you can still chime in on the conversation by leaving a comment below. We want to hear what you think!
